Will I need an internal examination?

No - an internal examination is never compulsory. It is only performed if appropriate, with your informed consent, and alternative assessment methods are always available. Louise always ensures her patients feel comfortable, safe and supported in her care.

What are your fees?

Initial consults are $260 and all review appointments thereafter are $150.

Private Health and/or Medicare rebates may be applicable.

How often do I need to attend physiotherapy?

Unlike treating an acute muscle or joint issues, pelvic physiotherapy is not often necessary weekly or multiple times per week.

For most cases, Louise recommends having your first two sessions 2 weeks apart to ensure all the information is understood, you have the opportunity to ask questions and the initial treatment strategies can be reviewed. Following this, Louise usually spaces appointments in 4-6 weeks intervals as needed.

Is the clinic a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community?

Absolutely. We are committed to providing respectful, inclusive care for people of all genders, sexualities and identities. We proudly support transgender and gender-diverse patients, including those seeking rehabilitation before or after gender-affirming surgery.

Can I shop the Hug Pelvic Health Store if I'm not a patient?

Yes - our online store is open to everyone, whether you're a patient or simply looking for trusted pelvic health products.
